The Society for Hellenism and Philhellenism (SHP) and the Philhellenism Museum, had the pleasure and honor to welcome a delegation of Greek members of the national parliaments in the USA, Canada, Australia, Albania and Ukraine, who participate in the WORLD HELLENIC INTER-PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION (W.H.I.A)

The Museum executives gave them a tour of their collections, informed them on the actions they are preparing during 2024 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the death of Lord Byron, and discussed with them collaborations for the promotion and cultivation of Philhellenism in their countries and the Greek diaspora.

The SHP and the Philhellenism Museum have already invited many politicians of Greek origin, members of foreign parliaments from 4 continents, who will participate in the events it will organise during the summer of 2024 in Athens.

The delegation which visited the Museum comprised the following:

• Vangelis Doules, Board member (Albania), Member of Parliament MP Tirana District
