A late 18th century German Hussar officer’s sword, 86cm curved blade decorated with flowers, foliage, stands of arms and an Hussar officer on horseback, traces of gilt highlights on a faded blued ground, brass hilt with D-shaped knuckle guard, wire bound leather covered wooden grip, worn, contained in its brass mounted paneled scabbard.
