Painting of the first half of the 19th century by the great German Philhellene painter Peter Heinrich Lambert von Hess (1792-1871). He created a series of emblematic themes related to the Revolution of 1821, the great battles, the fighters, the Philhellenes, the arrival of King Othon in Greece, but also the countryside of the free Greek state.
